Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock and Roll, turned away from the spotlight to retire performing after her 50th anniversary in 2009. She made her final bow through her biopic Tina, which is set to be released this 2021.
The powerhouse singer dedicated her latest film to her fans as she exits not only the limelight but also America. Tina has been residing in Switzerland since the early 1990s with Erwin Bach, her partner of many years.

In 2013, Tina became a citizen of the said country upon her marriage with Bach. In her memoir, Tina revealed that she had suffered several health concerns in the past that nearly took her life. Thank goodness she was able to recover! Tina credits her husband for donating his kidneys to her. As the 81-year-old music icon showed her gratitude to her fans all over the world, she can’t help but be filled with tears as she bade farewell one last time.
